Eleanor Jean Gilbert Bayes (3 May 1908, London, England - Mar qtr 1999, London, England). In 1927, she signed her name as "Jean Bayes" and was an Art Student.

From 16-20 Apr 1936, Eleanor Bayes sailed on the SS Viceroy of India from Gibraltar to London. She was an Artist, living at 4 Greville Place, Maida Vale, London NW6 (her parents house from 1931-1953).

Eleanor Jean Bayes died Mar quarter 1999, Westminster, London.

Ancestry

Her father was Gilbert William Bayes RA (4 Apr 1872, St Pancras, London - 1953, London), a British sculptor and medalist. There is even an entire gallery named after him at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London. You can read more about him on Wikipedia.
