Sara Rafaela Adderley was born Sara Rafaela Mier in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico on 24 October 1891.

Sara R Adderley married John William Adderley (28 in April 1920, and an accountant). They and daughter Hilda Adderley sailed from Cristobal, Canal Zone to New Orleans on the SS Atenas, from 8-15 April 1920. Their contact address was given as "Geo. Cobean, Piedras #132, Buenos Aires".
