Sara Rafaela Adderley was born Sara Rafaela Mier in Saltillo, Coahuila,
Mexico on 24 October 1891.
Sara R Adderley married John William Adderley (28 in April 1920, and an
accountant). They and daughter Hilda Adderley sailed from Cristobal,
Canal Zone to New Orleans on
the SS Atenas, from 8-15 April 1920. Their contact address was given
as "Geo. Cobean, Piedras #132, Buenos Aires". They then must have gone
to Mexico, as they entered the USA in Rio
Grande, Texas via ferry from Mexico on 15 May 1920.
Their last residence was Buenos Aires, Argentina, and their destination
was New York City, for a temporary visit, to return to Buenos Aires
within 6 months. They sailed from New York to Southampton on the SS
Philadelphia, arriving on 19 July 1920.
Sara R M Adderley sailed first class Montevideo, Uruguay to Liverpool
arriving 26
October 1925 on the SS Baronesa, with her three children. Their
proposed address in the UK was 233 Holstead Ave, South Norwood, London,
but they intended to return to permanent residence in Argentina.
